rundown of the last week

*I'm sorry if any of this doesn't make sense.. I didn't proof read any of it

-Hung out in Pensacola from friday to friday
-Made a lot of new friends
-Had a lot of fun
-Helped with Ultra Mega Studio, which is looking more awesome everyday
-Went to three shows while there
-Had free starbucks
-Considering moving there

-Left friday and went to Atlanta for the Youth Specialties conference
-Saw Shane Claiborne speak.. his message was the sermon on the mount.. that's it. It was sweet
-More favorites were Lui Giglio (very very good) and Mrs Tickle (very very wise)
-Chris Tomlin is a pretty awesome worship leader
-Family Force 5 is just fun to watch
-David Crowder is entertaining

I have had this thing where I haven't really felt the presence of God during a type of worship or even been moved for a very very long time. There was a point where I would try so hard... I wanted it pretty bad. It was all I would think about during worship. I was given some wisdom on the issue and stopped worrying about it so much, and just decided to sing and praise ultimately God was worthy, whether I was into it or not.

And so of course, there being years between when I was last moved by worship, when I least expected to feel God's presence, I do. It was during Chris Tomlin, and it was just like there was something I was actually clear about. It was good...

we were singing "we'll sing your praise forever" (from the hymn, Oh come let us adore Him, that we usually sing during Christmas time)

if i don't do anything else... just sing
